About
I was born in Cádiz, Spain, on the 10th of May of 1978 of a Spanish father and an English mother. During my childhood I showed an interest towards big words, writing, sketching and clothes design, other than being naked, walking barefoot and generally daydreaming, loosing things or talking to my hands.
After the compulsory academic stage I eventually dedicated ten years to the fashion industry until, in 2006, I experienced my Saturn return at its full power.
I then took on to studying philosophy for two years before embarking on a “blank canvas” round the world tour, visiting over 20 countries, searching for inspiration and insights into the nature of happiness and contentedness. During this journey I rediscovered my love for writing and photography and I was introduced to the paths of yoga and meditation. As a lover of the arts in general and all things feminine, I also dabble in painting, dancing and singing.
I currently live in Sweden for 5 months where I co-run a non-profit yoga community in the Swedish forest that aims at holding space in the current changing times and providing an opportunity, for those that are called, to explore themselves in art, different alternative healing modalities and spirituality, whilst living in communion with nature.
During the rest of the year I, together with my partner, guide pilgrimages and yoga retreats in Bali, India and Peru, as well as continuing on an active quest for wisdom and understanding of myself as full and complete.

THE WOMAN THAT SINGS TO THE FIRE
After more than two years of writer’s block, the desire to write came one fine day with an intensity that kept me writing throughout the whole night. Unable to ignore the strength of this call I decided to share my experiences within this path of growth and self-knowledge with others.
My wish for this blog is to serve me as a tool to integrate, contextualize and focus my findings and therefore serve me as a guide on my path. Far from pretending to be a knower or teacher of any sort, its purpose is to engage you in my own process of discovery. Every post I write is the reflection of that wich I am currently exploring.
I wish for it to introduce subjects such as conscious growth, yoga, meditation, astrology and astronomy, predictions, sexuality, femininity, creativity and spirituality in a way that is approachable, debunking the myth that only a selected few are to be conecerned with these subjects.
In this way, I hope it will humbly serve as a companion into the journey of those that may feel identified by my story, as well as even an interesting possibility to those that may be feeling the rapidly changing times that we are living in and wish to shift to another paradigm.
I intend to refer from siding with any religious view and will try to do my best to use clear words, away from overtly mystical or New Age terminologies, in my wish to make this journey available to all.
The name THE WOMAN THAT SINGS TO THE FIRE, is dedicated to all those women that, against all odds, carry a flame of inquisitiveness for subjects that transcend the material, as well as it being an invocation to bring forth with confidence the singer in me.
Here is the website of Prema, a woman that sings from the wound of love for the supreme consciousness and who serves as a profound inspiration to me http://premamayi.com/kirtan/
I wish to thank all my teachers including my partner, my parents, my friends and my enemies (if there are such) as well as all the amazingly wise beings that I have met during these years. Special thanks to Rumi, Ken Wilber, Osho, Eckhart Tolle, Mooji, Swami Dayananda Saraswati, Swami Vagishananda Saraswati and Amma Amritananda Mai.
